The purpose of Life Groups is to Equip the congregation of Silverton First Baptist Church to develop a deeper knowledge of God’s word and live out the truths of Scripture in the community. Life Groups are small (10-16 people) groups that provide the opportunity for individuals, families, and couples that meet at different times during the week to experience the richness of the grace of God and fellowship in each other’s homes. Together the group decides on what will be studied, social activities, and a service project. There is no cost to attend. Each Life Group has a discussion leader and meets in a host home. There is no better place to “open the Bible and open your life” with one another than to commit to regular participation in a Life Group.
